FROM THE DESK OF THE CHAIRMAN
I begin with this beautiful quotation which is befitting in all aspects
"Know what you want to do,
Hold the thought firmly,
Do everyday what should be done and
Every sunset will see you that much nearer the goal"
My years of thought, planning, and execution have culminated into bringing the existence of the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, popularly known as Indian Institute of Legal Studies, in the year 2009, which has over the years seen numerous transformations in agenda and object, and is striving towards perfection. Indian Institute of Legal Studies, to me, is not made of material substances only; I can feel the soul of the institution- where the prime objective is to serve the society in its way by spreading awareness, knowledge, and education, and this type of responsibility is what feeds its soul and fuels its purpose.
With my cherished dream of making Indian Institute of Legal Studies a centre of excellence and competence in the national scenario, which I have partly achieved, I wandered through the length and breadth of India, mixing with illustrious personalities, scholars and common folk alike, learning from all- assimilating all wisdom, binding them together with the cord of love, and attempting to transform Indian Institute of Legal Studies into a wonderful bouquet of opportunities.
A glimpse of the college presents a psychologically inquisitive niche - a sea of young tumultuous minds, overflowing with energy and self-assurance, yet curious and alert.
Indian Institute of Legal Studies has, in a few years, achieved a lot: it has truly transcended itself and made its presence felt in the international sphere with the Indian Institute of Legal Studies SAARC Law Conclave. Indian Institute of Legal Studies has proved that education cannot be contained in compartments but needs freedom to serve humanity and to realize a 'just and fair society'.
I also take the opportunity to welcome my beloved students who have been associated with the Indian Institute of Legal Studies and also those who wish to become a part of it in the upcoming days. Students are an integral part of the institution whose nurturing, upbringing and grooming is the prime focus and objective of the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, and it is committed towards its solemn duty with conviction and faith.
Lastly, I also state with all humility and conviction that the forthcoming days and years shall see Indian Institute of Legal Studies in all its brightness, grandeur and occupy its rightful position among the top institutes providing legal education.
