Ms. Tridipa Sehanobis Das is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at Indian Institute of Legal Studies. She is pursuing her Ph.D. (Law) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. She has completed B.A., LL.B (Hons.) Course from Department of Law, University of North Bengal. She has achieved a University Silver Medal for securing second position in the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Course. She has pursued her LL.M (post-graduation) with Constitutional Law specialization from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, in which she obtained the second position. Her LL.M. dissertation was on the topic "Personal Autonomy of Females in Exercising their Right to Reproductive Choices: An Empirical Study in Siliguri". She has qualified the UGC-NET Examination in Law (June, 2020).
Her working experience includes a position as an Intern under The Darjeeling District Legal Aid Forum wherein she was involved in different field works and case studies of child trafficking, domestic violence, etc. She also worked as Research Coordinator in the Centre For Consumer Protection Laws And Advocacy, RGNUL.
Presently, at this institution she has been appointed as a member of IQAC. She is guiding and supervising the LL.M. students in their dissertations.
To add to her credit, she has attended and presented papers in several national and international seminars and conferences.She has authored a book titled as "Women's Autonomy in Reproductive Choices". Besides, she has published several articles in UGC-CARE Listed, SCOPUS-Indexed and other reputed journals. She has also done a certificate courses on American Founding and Constitution and International Humanitarian Law.
Her areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Gender Justice, Labour Jurisprudence, Labour law, IPC, Evidence Law.
