Swarnim Ghatani did her schooling from Loreto Convent School, Darjeeling. Along with her ICSE and ISC Degree she holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M. Degree in Law from Department of Law, University of North Bengal. Her interest of academia turned her to Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri, where she now works as an Assistant Professor of Law. Her keen interest is in the field of Constitutional Law and Environmental Law and defended her dissertation on the topic “The Right to Privacy: A study in the light of Justice K.S. Puttaswamy v. Union of India under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Gangotri Chakraborty. Her co- curricular activities include participations in NSS programmes, Cyber awareness training programmes and workshops on Research Methodology and women and child centric conferences. She has also participated and presented papers on National and International Seminars and Conferences to add to her credit. She also has several publications in journals of national repute.
