Ms Shaheen Parween is presently working as Assistant Professor of Law at Indian Institute of legal Studies. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D from Sikkim University and the title of her thesis is "Constraints in Investigation and Trial of Sexual Offences Against women in India: A Study". She completed her BA.LLB (Hons.) from Department of Law, University of North Bengal in 2016 where she was awarded gold medal for academic excellence. She completed her LL.M in 2018 from Amity Law School Noida (Amity University) where she was awarded silver medal for academic excellence. Her dissertation was on the topic "Regulatory Mechanism of Cartels and its impact on competitive Market: A Critical Study".
She has presented research paper titled "An Evaluation of Section 34 of Arbitration and Conciliation Act with Special Emphasis on Judicial Intervention" which was published in Amity International Journal of legal and Multidisciplinary Studies. She also presented a paper on "Right to Free Legal Aid under Article 39A of the Indian Constitution: Issues and Challenges" IITKGP Pro Bono Conference.
Her Area of interest include Criminal Law, Law of Torts and Family Law.
