Ms. Esther Pradhan

Ms. Esther Pradhan is working as an Assistant Professor of Law in Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri. She had completed BA.LLB(H) from Sikkim University with First Class Degree in the year 2021. During her under graduation she has actively participated in Intra- Moot Court Competition, worked as a member of NSS Volunteer, was also the volunteer of Sikkim Legal Awareness Cell. She was the member of Free Legal Aid Clinic in Sikkim Government Law College under the official in charge Dr. Dilip Panday. Additionally, also completed two years of pre-internship under Mrs. Zola Megi, Advocate of High Court of Sikkim. She had completed LL.M in 2023, from Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Dagapur, Siliguri which is affiliated under the University of North Bengal, and has secured (Grade A) rank from Department of Law, University of North Bengal. During the course of master's programme, she had successfully completed her dissertation on the topic "Right to Clean Drinking Water in India: A Study with Special Reference to Gangtok, East Sikkim". Beside holding a degree, she has participated in National Seminars, Workshops/Conferences/UGC Sponsored. She has qualified All India Bar Examination XVII on 2022. Her area of interest includes Criminal laws, Constitutional laws, Environmental laws and Family law.
