Mr. Bishes Chhetri is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies. He completed his secondary schooling at Ramakrishna Siksha Parisad Boy's Higher Secondary School, Darjeeling and higher secondary at Saint Alphonsus Higher Secondary School, Kurseong. He graduated from Saint Joseph’s College Darjeeling with a B.A. (Economics Hons). He completed his Master in Arts degree from the University of North Bengal in economics with first class. His specialization during post-graduation was Natural Resource Economics and Advanced International Economics.
