The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri Celebrated Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Jayanti

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, who was a key architect of the Indian Constitution. The program started with lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to Dr. B.R.Ambedkar. Dr. Trishna Gurung, Principal-In-Charge, Dr. Pradipta Chakraborty, Dean Academics and Mr. Prasun Kumar, Assistant Professor of Law addressed the students on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's life and dedication for the upliftment of untouchables, women, and labourers.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar envisioned a society where the weaker sections, marginalised and downtrodden get equal rights and respect.  The program was coordinated by Ms. Tridipa Sehanobis Das, Assistant Professor of Law.
