Semi-Final and Final Rounds of Intra Semester Debate Competition 2022

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri have been organising the Intra-Semester Parliamentary Debate Competition, 2022 from 19th September to 23rd september, 2022. The Semi-Final and Final Rounds of the  Competition was conducted  on 23/09/2022. 

The Topic for debate of Semi Final was " Legalising same sex marriages in India" and that for the Final was "Essential religious practices in educational institutions in India".

The competition was very well fought by the students with quality research, tremendous application of minds and high degree of oratory skills. The rounds were judged by the teachers of the institute.

The Winners of the competition was Ms. Amrita Khanal, Mr. Debaditya Paul and Ms. Manisha Chhetri, students of 5 Years LL.B Semester V

The Runners-up of the competition was Mr. Devansh Agarwal, Ms. Barnita Singha Roy and Mr. Abhishek Agarwal, students of 3 Years LL.B Semester III
