National seminar on Empowering Excluded Women through Socio-Political and Juridical Representations: Indian Experiences

The department of Political Science & Sociology of Indian Institute of Legal Studies  Siliguri organized a one day national seminar on 8th April 2022 on Empowering Excluded Women through Socio-Political and Juridical Representations: Indian Experiences. It was a whole day event that aimed at sharing meaningful experiences and knowledge beyond the classroom learning opportunities for our students and research scholars across the state. This seminar addressed issues of misrepresentation and exclusion of Dalit and minority women from Socio-Political and legal perspectives.

They were esteem dignitaries from University of North Bengal and Sikkim University. The guest of Honour of the seminar was Fr. (Prof.) George Thadathil, Principal, Salesian College, Siliguri & Sonada. They were various scholars from different universities like Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, University of North Bengal and Sikkim University.
