Legal Awareness Program at Naxalbari Hindi High School

Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri conducted a Free Legal Awareness Program at NAXALBARI HINDI HIGH SCHOOL on the 26th Day of September, 2023.

On 26.09.2023, the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Dagapur conducted a Free Legal Awareness Program at Naxalbari Hindi High School. The program aimed to provide socio-legal knowledge to the senior students of Classes XI and XII on notable topics  inclusive of:

1. Mental Condition of Students in Reference To Online Education System (Speaker: Ms. Anushree Saha, Assistant Professor of Law)

2. Crimes Against Women In India and Legal Framework To Curb It’s Menaces {Speaker: Devapriya Saha [B.A. LLB (Honours) Semester VII]}

3. Adherence of Traffic Rules In India With  Reference To Motor Vehicles Act {Speaker: Koushik Barman [B.B.A. LLB (Honours) Semester V]}

The Legal Awareness Program was an interactive session which encouraged the students to discuss the problems faced by them in day to day life. The attendees were also given the opportunity to ask their queries which aided them to clear their doubts and understand the crucial socio-legal topics.

 

In the end, it can be concluded that the free legal awareness program conducted at Naxalbari Hindi High School enriched the students with their legal rights on various notable topics including career counseling. The program overall aimed at a holistic development of the students of Naxalbari Hindi High School.
