Indian Institute of Legal Studies Siliguri participated in the 39th North Bengal Book Fair 2021

The Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri, participated in the 39th North Bengal Book Fair, 2021 held from 3rd December, 2021-12th December, 2021 at Siliguri Kanchenjungha Stadium, in the form of conducting FREE LEGAL AID CLINIC to provide free legal assistance to the people who could not afford legal relief due to their financial constraints. The clinic was run by the teachers of the Institute along with the assistance from the students of Law who served as the para-lawyers. Many people visited the clinic and have obtained free legal assistance. This was one of the many ways by which the Institute could provide legal assistance to the people of the society and have served as a social agent, fulfilling its obligations towards the society at large and going much beyond the traditional classroom teaching.
