Independence Day was celebrated at Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri on 15th August 2024. The national flag was hoisted by Smt. Gouri Choudhury, Hon'ble Member of the Governing Body of Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri in the auspicious presence of Shri. Joyjit Choudhury, Hon'ble Ld. Additional Advocate General, Government of West Bengal & Founder Chairman, Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Smt. Nandita Choudhury, Hon'ble Member of the Governing Body of Indian Institute of Legal Studies and Dr. Trishna Gurung, Principal-In-Charge, Indian Institute of Legal Studies, SIliguri.

The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by a colourful cultural event organised by the college where the students have performed their hearts out to celebrate such a glorious occasion and have taken every opportunity to pay homage to the motherland.
