To achieve the constitutional goal under Article 39(A) and to provide equal justice, the Indian Institute of Legal Studies is rapidly making it’s steps towards its aim which is mainly focusing in taking initiative to provide free and competent legal service to the weaker sections of the society and to ensure proper opportunities for securing justice to every citizens of India. Therefore, the institution strives to fulfill its goal and thereby it has collaborated with the District Legal Services Authority, Kalimpong and conducted the program in presence of Sri Bishal Mangrati, The Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Kalimpong and with Mrs. Binita Mothaye, Program in Charge of the NGO named “HAYDEN HALL” at the same time to spread more legal knowledge and assistance to the society in broader aspect by targeting the people of weaker and backward class of the society. The speakers had a great interactive session with the audience who attended the progamme, there was several questions raised on these topics, and the speakers were able to connect with them as they spoke about the basic legal awareness topics that were prone in our society. In overall aspect it was a great legal awareness programme.
