Dispensation of justice is an essential service which must be geared to provide efficient and equitable service to the community at large and in a very much way so that the primary health clinics and schools are able to avail the same in the country. To achieve the same, the Indian Institute of Legal Studies is rapidly making its steps towards its aim which is mainly focusing in taking initiative to provide free and competent legal service to the youth of the country as well. Therefore, the institution has collaborated with the District Legal Services Authority, Darjeeling on 25.11.2022 for the commemoration of "NATIONAL LAW DAY", in presence of Shri Sujoy Kumar Saha, Secretary, DLSA, Darjeeling along with a para-legal volunteer Mr. Basant Kumar Thapa in order to conduct the program in Kurseong to spread more legal knowledge and assistance to the society in broader aspect by targeting the Youth of the country. Youth of Pushpa Rani School and Glorious School of Management were invited to attend the same, along with them members of NGO’s like "WE CARE KURSEONG", "VOICE FOR VOICELESS" and "EVAN" also graced the occasion on commemoration of "LAW DAY". There were several questions raised during the session. The speakers for the programme spoke about cyber bully and drug abuse; they also said how it affects the lives of teenagers and had interactive sessions with target audience.
