Children's Day was celebrated with joy and warmth at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, bringing together students and teachers for a memorable day. Celebrated each year on November 14, Children’s Day marks the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and is celebrated to honour his deep commitment to the nation’s youth. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of nurturing and educating children, who represent the future of the nation.
The celebration at the Institute was filled with warmth, as teachers joined students in their classrooms, cutting cakes and distributing sweets, symbolizing their affection and best wishes for each student’s bright future. Teachers shared their love, encouragement, and hopes, making the occasion even more special.
Dr. Trishna Gurung, Principal-in-Charge added a personal touch by visiting each class, wishing every student a Happy Children’s Day. As part of the celebration, the Institute gifted pens to all students as a token of its commitment to their academic journey. Celebrating Children's Day is significant as it reminds society and institutions like the Indian Institute of Legal Studies of their responsibility to support and nurture the next generation. At the Institute, this day of celebration not only brings joy but also strengthens the bond between teachers and students, creating a positive, nurturing atmosphere essential for growth and learning.
