Mr. Anit Kumar, S/O Jawahar Lal Sharma is currently an Assistant Professor of Law at Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Affiliated to Coochbehar Panchanan Barma University, West Bengal, India. He did his B.A. Hons (History), from University of North Bengal in 2007, LL.B. in 2011 from Hooghly Mohsin College, The University of Burdwan and LL.M. in 2016 from Department of Law, University of North Bengal. He has also completed his Ph.D. Course Work in Law in 2018 from Department of Law, University of North Bengal. He has qualified N.E. SLET (SET) 2021 in Law with scoring 66.66% of marks which was conducted by State Level Eligibility Test Commission, Assam (N.E. Region). Prior to joining to this institution, he has worked as an Assistant Professor in Law at Uttarayan College of Law, affiliated to Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. He has done research internship for duration of 03 (three) months under the esteemed supervision of Dr. Narender Nagarwal, Assistant Professor of Law, Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in his chamber at Campus Law Centre. His research interest includes Criminology, Victimology and Human Rights. At present he has authored 03 (three) research papers in reputed journals, out of which one is in UGC Care List Journal and others two in peer reviewed journals or referred journals. He also authored 02 (Two) chapters in an edited book. Till now, he had participated and presented 07 (seven) research papers in a national and international seminars and conference. Beside this, he had also attended national seminars, national webinars, faculty orientation Programme, law teachers training workshop and actively participated in extra-curricular activities such as representing the football, cricket and volleyball team inter-class competition 2010, organized by the student union law section of Hooghly Mohsin College in the year 2010.
