Visit to District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Cooch Behar

On 2nd December, 2024 our students from BA.LL.B Vth Semester made a fruitful visit to District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Cooch Behar.

The students gained insights into the procedural aspects of filing complaints, presenting evidence, and the role of legal counsel. This exposure helped them to bridge the gap between therotical and practical knowledge of how legal principles like consumer rights, deficiency of service, and unfair trade practices are applied in practice. It also prompts thier critical thinking on the effectiveness of the legal system and the importance of consumer awareness, fostering both professional.
