The Tax Advocates' Association of Bengal Organized a Two-Day Seminar on Income Tax and GST to Celebrate its 19th Foundation Day

The Tax Advocates' Association of Bengal organized a Two-Day Seminar on Income Tax and GST to celebrate its 19th Foundation Day on the 7th and 8th of December 2024. Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar was an associative partner. 

The seminar aimed at exploring relevant tax issues, frameworks, and practical applications of the same. The event brought together professionals and experts from the legal arena. It highlighted various facets of Taxation Laws and contemporary developments in this field.

The said programme was graced by Hon'ble Justice Mr. Rajesh Bindal, Judge, Supreme Court of India and D.P. Karanam, IAS, Commissioner, Commercial Tax, West Bengal.

Dr. Jayati Kharga, Principal-in-Charge, Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar has graced the event as a Special Guest and put forward her insights on the theme of the seminar while engaging the participants in an interactive session on technical aspects of tax laws and regulations. Dr. Priya Singh, Dean (Academics), Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar has also graced the event.

The event promised to carry forward the commitments of the Tax Advocates' Association of Bengal in building excellence in tax advocacy.
