National Constitution Day Celebration at Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar

The 26th of November holds immense significance in Indian history as it marks the adoption of the Constitution of India in 1949 by the Constituent Assembly. This day is celebrated as National Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) to honor the visionary leadership of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chairman of the Drafting Committee, and to commemorate the efforts of all the framers of the Constitution.

On this special day in 2024, Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar, celebrated National Constitution Day with great enthusiasm and spirit. The event featured special lectures by Mr. Anit Kumar , Assistant Professor of Law and Mr. Soumyadeep Ghosh, Assistant Professor of Law. Through their lectures, they shared valuable insights on the relevance of the Indian Constitution in today’s world.

Our beloved students actively participated in the event, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm through engaging discussions and activities. The event also featured Drawing Competition for the students on the theme of Constitutional Day. The event concluded with a collective reading of the Preamble, reaffirming our commitment to constitutional values.

It was an event of upholding the spirit and values of our Constitution.
