Free Legal Aid and Awareness Session at Harinchowra Bani Niketan Girls' High School, Cooch Behar

Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar has conducted a free legal awareness session for the students of Harinchowra Baniniketan Girls' High School, Cooch Behar.

The session aimed to educate the young minds about their Fundamental Rights and Duties  as a citizen of this country that are enshrined in the Constitution of India. It also revolved around the protective measures from various offences like Cyber Crime and the laws framed by our Central and State Government to protect everyone specially women and children. The session also discussed about the concept of Gender Justice and it's relevant legislations.

The session started with an interactive discussion about the future prospective of Legal education and the significance of Legal Awareness for the young minds.

4. Ms. Habiba Bristi Akhtar, B.A.LL.B (Sem- VIII )- Cyber Crime and how it violates human rights specially Right to Privacy.

5. Ms. Akhsina Parvin, B.A.LL.B(Sem. VIII)- The Constitution of India and the importance of Fundamental Rights.

6. Ms. Sahanaj Khatun, B.A.LL.B(Sem. VIII)- Legal Rights and protective measures for women and children.
