Dr. Jayati Kharga

B.A. LL.B., LL.M., Ph.D.

Dr. Jayati Kharga is serving as the Principal in Charge at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies Cooch Behar, since 2023. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies Siliguri since 2016. She successfully finished her Doctor of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D.) from the Department of Law at Cooch Behar Panchanan Barman University in 2023 after pursuing her LL.M. and B.A. LL.B (Hons.) at the Department of Law, University of North Bengal.

She has participated in and presented papers at UGC-sponsored events as well as other national and international seminars, workshops, conferences and teachers training programmes. In addition to participating in and presenting papers she has also published a number of research articles in prestigious peer - reviewed journals.
