If someone says that India is a developed country and very much progressive so it cannot be a complete truth in respect to India. As Development and progressive also speaks about that there should not be any drawbacks and negative points in the scenario. In India if there are instances of child marriage, then it is not good to say that India is a developed nation or progressive one. Getting marriage in the age of playing and going school, is in itself a improper thing to say. But it is highly followed in India and at various villages. Still the practise are going on without even knowing to the consequences which child face in early marriage or child marriage. Situations of the girls are th worst as they have to face severe consequences regarding the same as they are not mentally, physically prepared for this. They are not eligible for marriage. To prohibit this India also regulated one legislation in the form of Child Marriage Restraint Act which is amended and now it is become Prohibition of Child Marriage Act. But the success of this particular legislation is still under issue and under considerations as the provisions are not fully performed and implemented at the grass root level. Situation is getting worsened due to the officers appointed for such prohibition, they are also involved in these practices of child marriage. At international level also there several countries which are facing issues of this also such as Arabic countries, gulf countries, and some of the African countries. At international and national level it is very required to bring some more legislation in filed of the eradication of this particular concept from its root.
